Pelican Hill

Posted on Sep 20, 2012

What a busy summer it has been! We would like to share one of our favorite summer programs at the beautiful Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach. We created each of these events a total of 3 times! But of course with our awesome team here at White Lotus, we had it down by our 3rd and final round. We created an amazing Tuscan themed dinner, complete with our new collection of wooden dining tables. We filled the tables with lush sunflowers, fresh lavendar and tons of candlelight. There was a beautiful Italian marketplace complete with a large wine arbor decorated with vines and greenery where guests could taste different olive oils. There were flower carts full of  fresh flowers, and various vendors selling hand crafted vases, masks and other treats. We also created a beautiful Spanish Mission themed evening. Beautiful linens, lanterns and lush flowers filled the ballroom while various mission towers and props surrounded the perimeter. It too, was a lovely night!  Here are some great pictures of the work we did and the beautiful location at Pelican Hill Resort! Enjoy!

THE wedding of the year.

Posted on Apr 28, 2012

Okay, okay…….we do a lot of weddings, and to be truthful, we love them all. They are all lovely and special and amazing in their own way. But this one? This one was very special to me, because the bride is one of my best friends, and one of the best people I know. The wedding took place at The Hilton Torrey Pines in La Jolla. It turned out to be the perfect day, not too hot, and not too cold. The day started off with traditional Chinese tea ceremonies and other festivities ( Check out the groomsmen with their bright red lipstick :) Knowing all of these gentlemen makes it even better! ) The wedding ceremony was beautiful, with the grooms grandfather as the officiant, it made it that much more personal and special. The bride changed into an amazing dress for the reception, and the guests danced the night away (including myself!) It was the most fun our group of friends have had together in a long time! What an amazing evening :)  I must say, after about a year of planning the wedding with Kasey, my most favorite part of the day was when I took the two of them into the ballroom before everyone else got to see it. Mike kept hugging me, and Kasey’s eyes were huge. Perfect. :) Thank you Mike and Kasey, for letting us be such a big part of your day. Love you both!

Don’t they all look sooo pretty?? Love you guys!

Her dress was STUNNING!

Past events- photo candy

Sometimes we get so busy, and overwhelmed with our everyday duties that we forget to share some of the amazing things we get to create. I know for me personally, the last 6 months have been absolute CRAZY TOWN. Between taking over the company, moving into a new apartment, taking care of my dog, trying to find time to take care of myself and managing to spend time with friends and family…I guess I don’t get much time to sit down and write blogs, and post pretty pictures as much as I would like to. :) So, I’m going to post some of my absolute favorite pictures from the last year or so. Some you have probably seen, and perhaps some you haven’t! Enjoy!

Soooo…What do you have???

Posted on Apr 4, 2012

When i’m out networking and mingling with my industry peers and potential clients…..I get this question OFTEN. People want to know what we own, what we sell, what we do. So, usually, I invite them to our warehouse to give them a sneak peek of our inventory. Of course, keep in mind, it’s a warehouse.  So many of our items are packed and boxed and stored out of eyesight to keep it free of dust and warehouse critters. SO, Why not start blogging about what we have? Hopefully this will help!!!!!

Here are our white couches, end tables, silver vintage candelabras, and white moroccan lanterns. For those of you who have been to our office, i’m sure you recognize our leopard print pillows!

These are our propane fire pits and white adirondack chairs. Don’t you wish you were there right now with a frozen fruity cocktail in hand?

Here are our stunning branch belly bars!

Estate Wedding in La Jolla, CA

Posted on Apr 4, 2012

This wedding was amazing…the setting was an amazing estate on the cliffs near the famous Torrey Pines Glider Port. The entire day, gliders were sailing over our heads and complimenting the beautiful wedding set up! The weather was picture perfect, and the couple was so sweet. The bride was one of the most easy going brides I have ever worked with. She didn’t know what colors she wanted, and frankly, she didn’t really care. She just wanted it to be simple and pretty. We settled on mainly white with touches of Lavendar to match the flower girl. Check out this photo of the amazing ceremony decor!!!

Organic Summer Wedding

This wedding was one of our favorites from last year. Yes, it’s a little late for a blog on a wedding from last year right? Nope. This wedding screams classic beauty. As I sit in my office and go through older wedding photos from last year, this one always stands out to me. I have a photo of her bouquet hanging in my office, and we even used it as our advertisement in Ceremony magazine this year. It is truly a classic bridal bouquet. Here are some photos from the talented Jeff Wallace Photography. Enjoy :)

PS, aren’t they a beautiful couple????
